Chocolate cake in the microwave is a quick and easy way to satisfy your chocolate cake cravings in just a matter of minutes.

Take a microwave-safe dish or silicon cake tin. Mine is 18cm(7') round.
In a bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, oil, or melted butter cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and vanilla. Add milk or water. Stir to combine everything together.
Cut parchment paper in the shape of your baking pan and place it on the bottom. Apply some oil to the edges of the pan and pour in the batter.
Then microwave the cake on high for about 4 minutes, checking it occasionally until a dry toothpick can be inserted into the center.
Once done, let the cake cool slightly before removing it from the pan and placing it on a wire rack to cool completely.
For a layered cake, you can spread some whipped cream over the cake's surface, which can be made by whisking cold cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until it forms stiff peaks. Also can add 1 tbsp cocoa powder to receive a chocolate cream.
Divide the cooled cake into 3 equal parts. Spread the cream evenly.
To make the ganache, heat some cream in the microwave and pour it over finely chopped chocolate. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before stirring it until smooth.
Then pour the ganache over the cake and decorate as desired.
Place the cake in a fridge to cool completely.
Enjoy with tea or coffee!
