A man who stole 200,000 Cadbury Creme Eggs is now facing prison time.

A man from Leeds, named Joby Pool, has been found guilty in Kidderminster Magistrates Court of stealing 200,000 Cadbury Creme Eggs. Reports from the BBC indicate that Pool was surrounded by the chocolate eggs when he was arrested on the weekend. According to prosecutors, the theft involved significant planning and was executed by Pool using a stolen truck to steal a trailer containing the chocolate eggs from an industrial unit in Telford, Western England. Pool pleaded guilty to criminal damage and theft. He used a metal grinder to cut through the gates of the industrial unit and also stole other chocolate sweets. The total value of the haul was £31,000 ($AU54,000). He was arrested by police on the M42 motorway and is expected to be sentenced next month.
